Hearing loss is a serious disrupter to everyday life. It can affect your relationships, your professional life, and even your hobbies. Making the decision to address my hearing loss and utilize hearing devices has been one of the best things I’ve ever done, and, like HearStrong, I hope to inspire others to do the same.

On September 14, 2014, Joe assisted the HearStrong Foundation in honoring HearStrong Champion Danielle Strassle at the 2014 Buffalo Bills Alumni VIP Tailgate Event in Buffalo, NY. During the event, Joe discussed his own struggles with hearing loss and tinnitus, both of which he attributes to his time on the field, and how hearing devices have changed his life for the better.
